Risk assessment and threat landscape

The security efforts at AAU start with a risk-based approach where relevant threats and risks – including incidents such as theft, vandalism and unauthorized presence – as well as more critical incidents such as espionage, violent incidents and "dual-use" issues – are continuously assessed and managed.

An updated risk and vulnerability analysis is carried out at least every two years, as well as in the event of a changed threat picture from relevant authorities, geopolitical tensions, major incidents, directives, etc.
