Student Projects - Registration in Pure

Procedure for the registration of student projects in Pure. All final projects must be registered in Pure. Registration takes place in connection with submission through Digital Exam, where the project is transferred to Pure via system integration.

Student Projects - Registration in Pure

Procedure for the registration of student projects in Pure. All final projects must be registered in Pure. Registration takes place in connection with submission through Digital Exam, where the project is transferred to Pure via system integration.

Registration in Pure only takes place if this has been configured for the specific exam in Digital Exam. The person responsible for setting up the exam in Digital Exam is also responsible for enabling this configuration.

There is no requirement to register semester projects.

The following project types are subject to mandatory registration:

  • Master thesis
  • Master programme thesis
  • Bachelor project
  • Professional bachelor project

Visibility and access

Pure serves as the archive for student projects, while access and display are provided through the AAU Student Projects portal.

  • Non-confidential master theses and programme theses are displayed on the portal.
  • Non-confidential bachelor projects, professional bachelor projects, and semester projects are only accessible through the portal with an AAU login.
  • Confidential projects are not accessible through the portal.

Confidentiality only affects access and visibility, not the registration itself in Pure.

Changes and deletion

Registration of final projects in Pure cannot be reversed after submission.

Changes to a project's confidentiality status may be made in accordance with applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

The following parties are involved in the registration and management of student projects:

  • Study secretaries: Set up exams in Digital Exam, including activation of registration in Pure.
  • Students: Submit projects and select the confidentiality level.
  • The VBN Team: Responsible for operation, maintenance, and quality assurance of registrations in Pure.

Purpose

The purpose of this procedure is to ensure consistent registration and archiving of student projects in Pure and to clarify responsibilities and processes related to the registration.

Definitions

Final projects: Master thesis, Master programme thesis, Bachelor project and Professional bachelor project.

Semester projects: Other student projects for which registration in Pure is not mandatory.
